Tia Blanco

Tiarah Lue Blanco (born May 5, 1997) is a professional surfer from Puerto Rico who won the first place Gold medal at the International Surfing Association (ISA) Open Women's World Surfing Championship 2015[1] in Popoyo, Nicaragua and successfully defended the title by winning the 2016 edition[2][3] in Playa Jacó, Costa Rica. ISA is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) which included the discipline Surfing to the list of Olympic sports for the Summer Games in Tokyo 2020 where Tia Blanco hopes to compete.[4]

Blanco is a vegan and promotes the lifestyle.[5][6][7]

Blanco has appeared in MTV's The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros.
