The dome itself also houses a planetarium. History

The museum was first established as a non-permanent Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition between 1946 and 1956, then improved to be the current Three Revolutions Exhibition in 1983, and further renovations took place in 1993. In 2015 museum still looked like it did not change since 1993 - featured common or already outdated technologies as hi-tech, and features technologies (tractors, modern cars and trains made in DPRK) rarely seen in operation throughout the country.[1]
