Thosea aperiens, commonly called stinging caterpillar, is a moth of the Limacodidae family.[1] It is found in Sri Lanka,[2] and India.
Larval host plant is Dunbaria henryi, Lablab purpureus, cowpea, Calotropis gigantea and Ziziphus jujuba.[3]
