Thomas “Tom” Minns (born 4 September 1994) is an English professional rugby league footballer who most recently played for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League. He has previously played for Featherstone Rovers, London Broncos and the Leeds Rhinos. He primarily plays as a centre.

Leeds Rhinos (2013-15)

In 2013, Thomas Minns made 3 appearances for the Leeds Rhinos and scored only a single try.[3]

London Broncos (2014)

In 2014, he was loaned to the London Broncos, with two of his fellow, young team-mates from the Leeds Rhinos.

Featherstone Rovers (2015)

Minns spent the 2015 season on loan atFeatherstone Rovers, recording 16 outings and posting 8 tries.

Hull Kingston Rovers (2016-18)

Then on 3 July 2015, it was announced that Minns had signed a three-year deal to play for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League, starting from the 2016 rugby league season.

Minns suffered relegation from the Super League with Hull KR in the 2016 season, due to losing the Million Pound Game at the hands of the Salford Red Devils.

12-months later however, Minns was part of the Hull Kingston Rovers' side that won promotion back to the Super League, at the first time of asking following relegation the season prior.

Following Hull Kingston Rovers' victory over the Huddersfield Giants on 15 March 2018, Minns was tested by the UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), which returned a positive result for a banned, non-performance enhancing substance.

Following the news of Minns' test results, he was immediately stood-down from his playing duties and he was placed on extended leave from Hull Kingston Rovers until an outcome was reached.

It was revealed on 27 July 2018, that Minns had been released from his current contract at Hull KR.
