Thomas Mann (born 28 January 1946) is a German politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Germany. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Union, part of the European People's Party. He is the President of the Tibet Intergroup of the European Parliament since 1999.

Mann's greatest achievements include being awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2002 for his dedication to human rights issues.[1] [2]
