Thirudan (lit. Thief) is a 1969 Indian Tamil language film, directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, K. Balaji and Vijayalalitha in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.[2][3][4] The film was a remake of Telugu film Adrushtavanthalu. The film was remade in Hindi as Himmat in 1970, and in Sinhalese as Edath Sooraya Adath Sooraya in 1972.
