Thelephantins are pigments found in the inedible mushroom Thelephora aurantiotincta. Three variants (thelephantin A, B, C) have been eluciated by high-resolution 2D NMR, MS, IR and UV spectra as well as an acetylated congener of thelephantin A.[1] [2].
