Reception

Before the show had even aired the name "undateables" was met with controversy. The idea that people with physical or mental disabilities were considered "undateable" was branded "offensive" and "horrible" by doctors and Twitter users.[1] A spokesman for the show later claimed the title was actually a reflection of what the public thinks, not the show.
