The Three-Body Problem (Chinese: 三体) is an unreleased Chinese science fiction film directed by Fanfan Zhang and starring Feng Shaofeng and Zhang Jingchu. The film, based on the novel The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin, was originally scheduled to be released in 2017[2][3][4] in 3D.[5]

In 2016 it was announced that the film was indefinitely postponed due to the company's internal shuffling and the rumored "bad quality" of the film's first cut. The right's holder, YooZoo Pictures, has not been able to complete the film, nor has it sold the rights to a new company to complete the work.[6]
