Slave of Rome (Italian: La schiava di Roma, also known as Slave Warrior) is a 1961 Italian peplum film written and directed by Sergio Grieco and starring Rossana Podestà and Guy Madison.[1][2]
Plot
During Julius Caesar's invasion of Gallia, a Gallic leader wants to sign a peace treaty with Rome, but the staunchly anti-Roman Lycircos does not hesitate to kill him. The Romans send the tribune Marcus Valere and the centurion Claudio with the responsibility for punishing him. During the dangerous mission, Marcus falls in-love with Antea, the daughter of the Gallic chieftain.
