The Railway Hotel, Southend

The Railway Hotel is a pub in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England.[1] It is known for its live music and its vegetarian and vegan food. The pub chose to offer a meat free menu in 2012.[2] English singer Wilko Johnson has been known to attend the pub occasionally. In 2013 the pub replaced their traditional pub sign for a hand painted portrait of Wilko Johnson by local artist Jack Melville.[3][4]
