The Penthouse Tapes is the sixth album by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band and is the first one to consist almost entirely of cover songs that range from The Osmonds "Crazy Horses", Alice Cooper's "School's Out", to Lead Belly's "Goodnight Irene".[1] It was originally released in 1976 on Vertigo Records.
