The Opposite of December... A Season of Seperation is the first full-length album by experimental hardcore band Poison the Well, released on December 14, 1999. Very influential in the early popularization of metalcore around the turn of the century, the album was the band's first on Trustkill Records and is now recognized as a landmark album in the genre due to its quality and influence.[2]

A remastered edition of the album was released on November 20, 2012 on Rise Records.
