The Noise (game show)

The Noise is an American children's game show that premiered on Universal Kids on October 23, 2017. The series is presented by BattleBots ring announcer Faruq Tauheed.[1][2]

Gameplay

Two teams of two kids (one colored orange and the other colored green) battle it out in a challenge of skill, speed & sounds. Each show features the teams taking on timed mindless tasks where the goal is to not make so much noise. So the quieter, the better. Their noisy progress is being recorded on what called "The Noise-O-Meter", which keeps track of how loud a noise the players are making. Teams score points based how quiet they finish the challenge; so the quieter the task, the more points they can score. Should "The Noise-O-Meter" reach to the top, that means that the team in control made too much noise, the challenge is forfeited and no points are scored.

Main Game

The game is played in three rounds. Each round is played with a different challenge. On each challenge, Faruq would explain what the team has to do to beat the clock and "The Noise-O-Meter", and then the first team would perform the challenge as quiet as they can. Regardless of the outcome, the other team would perform the challenge in the same manner.

In the first two rounds, the contestant play individually, with the ones who sat out the first round playing the next round. The last round sees all four contestants playing, one team at a time.

The first round is worth up to five points; the second is worth up to ten points and the third is worth up to 20. For a maximum total of 35 points for each team.

In the last round, the second team has to win the game by having "The Noise-O-Meter" stay under the red line, which is set at a certain point, representing how far they are away from the leading team's score.

The team with the most points at the end of the three rounds will go to the Run of the House for five prizes plus a cash bonus of $5,000. But in order to win any of those prizes, they simply have to be as quiet as they can.

Run of the House

The winning team has three minutes (3:00) to go through the house. The house has five rooms with some noisy obstacles. Each one has a prize attached, with one of them being a mystery. Hidden within those rooms are two pieces of a picture puzzle of the show's logo. In each room, their job is to find those pieces (one for each player) without making too much noise. Once they've found the pieces, they must put them together and place the logo on a pedestal to indicate they have completed the task in the room. Doing so won the prize attached to the room. In any room if at anytime the winning team makes too much noise, the room & prizes are both forfeited. Either way, the team moves on to the next room. They can pass on a room and come back to it at anytime if there's time left on the clock. If the winning team can win all five rooms without making any of the loudest sounds and before time runs out, not only they win all five prizes, but also a $5,000 cash bonus. But regardless of the outcome, the winning team will keep any prizes won in that round.
