The group began their activities in the early 1990s in Memphis, Tennessee with Project Pat, Lil Corb and Scan Man. The album would be the only project released by the band together.[2][3] After Project Pat came out of prison, MC Mack, Scan Man and Lil Corb. has released his label and to this day they have signed with Prophet Entertainment.[2][4] Although national success has escaped the group, they are now considered one of the better known hip hop groups from Memphis.[5][6] Tennessee's first major hip-hop artists released their first album in 1998.[2] After selling their second album regionally, they signed with Columbia Records, which released another successful album in 2001 and their self-titled second album.
