La Casa del Buon Ritorno (Translation: The House of Good Returns), also known as Der haus der Blauen Schatten (The House of the Blue Shadows), is a 1986 Italian giallo film written and directed by Beppe Cino.[1][2][3] This film was never dubbed in English, nor was it shown theatrically in the US or UK.[4] Technically the German title translates as House of the Blue Shadows, not Shutters (but the film is still referred to also as Shutters).[5]

Plot

A little girl is pushed off a balcony to her death, and her murderer is never found. Fifteens years later, a young man named Luca and his fiancee Margit return to the house for a visit. Memories start returning slowly to Luca, and he begins to unravel the mystery of who killed the little girl. A strange woman named Ayesha turns up and unnerves Luca. Then murders begin to occur.
