The Great War Symphony

The Great War Symphony is an upcoming work by the British composer Patrick Hawes due to be premiered in 2018.

It is a choral symphony in four movements with each movement depicting a year of the First World War.

The complete work will be premiered in 2018 as part of the World War I commemorations to mark the end of the centenary and will involve community choirs and musicians from across the UK.[1]
