The Filthy Six
The Filthy Six are a British Jazz group specialising in Organ Jazz, a style of Jazz encompassing Funk, Acid and Soul-Jazz, but specifically involving the use of Hammond Organ.
Background
The group has been described as a "soulful Hammond groove" sextet.[1] The group has said to sound like the James Taylor Quartet at times.[2]
Career
In March, 2016, the group released their album More Filth which was the third in their studio output. Also that month the group took to the road to promote the album.[3]
On November 17 2016, the group was headlining at the Downtown GetDown on the Adams Street Commons in Tallahassee.[4][5]
