The Dragon's Blood (Italian: Sigfrido) is a 1957 Italian fantasy film co-written and directed by Giacomo Gentilomo.[1] It is based on Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen.[2][3][1]

Dragon's Blood giant dragon was one of the earliest creatures created by special effects artist Carlo Rambaldi.[1] Rambaldi would alter be responsible for the special effects on King Kong and E.T. (1982).[1]

Release

Dragon's Blood was in 1957.[1] It was released in the United States with a longer 97 minute running time.[1]
