The Danish Animal Protection Act

The Danish Animal Protection Act is a Danish law.

The law protects, as it's stated in § 1, animals living conditions with precepts about, an animal have to be treated properly and be protected in the best possible way against pain, suffering, anxiety, enduring bleeding or vital disadvantage.[1]

Maximum penalty

If the animal is being treated irresponsibly, the owner will be punished with either a fine or get imprisoned for up to 1 year.[2]
