The Christmas Chronicles is an upcoming American Christmas family film directed by Clay Kaytis from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman. The film stars Kurt Russell, Judah Lewis, and Darby Camp.
The film will be released on November 22, 2018, by Netflix.[1]

Production
In December 2017, it was reported that Kurt Russell would star as Santa Claus in a Netflix film.[2] The film was later given the title The Christmas Chronicles and is expected to be released in 2018.[3]
Principal photography began in January 2018.[2]
Promotion
Balloons of Fleck, Bjorn, Jojo & Hugg will debut in the 92nd Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2018. They are the first balloons based on a Netflix movie property and the first character balloons to feature 4 separate characters.
