The Bell Inn, Aldworth
The Bell is a Grade II listed public house at Aldworth, Berkshire, England (postcode RG8 9SE).[1]
It is said to have been a manor house before it became a pub. It was built in the 15th century or possibly earlier, with C17 and C19 alterations and a C20 addition.[1] It has been in the same family continuously since the 18th century.
Interior
The brick building has a timber frame.[1] It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.[2][3] It has no bar fittings at all save for handpumps - lager is only available in bottles.
Honours
In 1990, it won CAMRA's National Pub of the Year.
