The Art Cafe [1] is a 2013 Malayalam short film that explores and examines dreams, aspirations, friendship, love, loneliness, and betrayal. The film was directed by Krishna Murali and stars Naji M Baji.

Plot

The story revolves around a cafe named Coffee Beanz. Different types of people with common interests spend their time in the cafe, including Mr. Scorpion, a couple, a TV anchor, wealthy kids who want to produce a Hollywood-like movie and a wannabe actor. The common factor that binds them together is their passion for movies and their different characters. Scorpion listens to the others. discuss their movie's story. Eventually they realize that he had stolen their stories and become a big success. He returns to the cafe, but his victims chase him down and beat him.

Production

The film is shot in Trivandrum, capital of the Southern Indian state of Kerala, in the state's official language, Malayalam. The movie revolves around a cafe.
