Characters

Rimuru (リムル) / Satoru Mikami (三上悟, Mikami Satoru)
Voiced by: Miho Okazaki (Rimuru)[2] Takuma Terashima (Satoru)[3]
A human on Earth who was reincarnated as a Powerful Slime due to certain requests he made as he died. While he technically does not have a gender, he identifies as a male due to his past gender, but the feminine body he obtains from Shizu complicates this slightly. He has the skill, Devour, which allows him to eat almost anything and obtain skills and items from the devoured object. He can even mimic the appearance of any item he has devoured.
Veldora (ヴェルドラ, Verudora)
Voiced by: Tomoaki Maeno[2]
A powerful dragon who befriended the young Rimuru. Veldora was trapped in an "Endless Prison" by a beautiful Hero, when he was distracted by her looks. He was freed by Rimuru, when Rimuru took him into his storage space, so that they could jointly analyze the Endless Prison spell to break it.
Shizu (シズ)
Voiced by: Yumiri Hanamori[2]
A Japanese girl who was summoned into this world, during the Bombing of Tokyo. Her summoning was considered a failure, and she was abandoned after having a fire demon, Ifrit bound to her body. She figures out that Rimuru was also once from Japan and in their short time together, they become good friends.
