Teluwaih Jinih is a beauty pageant held annually during the Kaul Mukah festival in Sarawak, Malaysia.[1]
Profile
Teluwaih Jinih which means "beautiful girl" in the Melanau language is one of the main events during Kaul festival. [2] The pageant is open for participants of Melanau descent and is held to promote and enliven the Mukah Kaul festival, to promote the Melanau traditional attire as well as to discover modelling talents among its participants. [3]
