Pegasus Research Group, LLC doing business as Televerde is a global demand generation company that provides sales and marketing solutions designed to acquire new business and accelerate revenue. They serve as strategic partners for their clients, dedicated to delivering exceptional results from the moment leads enter the sales pipeline to close.[1]

Televerde’s solutions have assisted a wide range of large and mid-sized companies around the world and has generated more than $8 billion in revenue.[2] Currently, Televerde covers 20+ languages from their global headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona to their international locations in Glasgow, Scotland, Melbourne, Australia, and Córdoba, Argentina.[3]

Services

Televerde's portfolio of services is focused on Demand Generation and Inside Sales specifically addressing the intersection of data, digital and dialogue in the marketing and sales pipeline. Services include Data Quality Analysis, Lead Nurturing, Marketing Automation, Sales Pipeline Solutions, and Teleservices.

In early 2009 Televerde launched an “Integrated Nurture Solution.” The relatively new concept of “Integrated Nurture” differed from the established concept of “Integrated Marketing Communications,” in that the nurturing of a sales opportunity designed to meet a specific objective, with the intent to move that relationship along so that a business transaction can eventually result from it. Similar to the concept of integration when it comes to marketing, the idea is synchronization of techniques and movements powered by marketing automation to strengthen the relationship and achieve the desired outcomes. Techniques might include research papers, webinars, and on-going email or phone correspondence.

Background

Televerde earned a Spirit of Enterprise Award[4] in 2008 from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. The company started out in a small trailer based at the Arizona State Prison Complex – Phoenix prison yard with eight incarcerated females as employees in its call center.[5] It has since grown to 400 employees, including incarcerated females, individuals outside of the correctional system, and former inmates who are making the transition to their new, productive lives.[6] Approximately 250 members of Televerde’s workforce are currently or formerly incarcerated.[7]

Televerde benefits from lower than average turnover rate among its employees, and its employees become prepared for a future outside of the correctional system. It is estimated that unemployment rates among ex-prisoners are between 25 and 40 percent,[8] a primary factor in recidivism. By learning interpersonal skills, being mentored by professionals, and building self-confidence, Televerde employees re-enter society with a lower likelihood of recidivism.
