Taylor Business Institute Chicago is a small private career college located in Chicago's West Loop. Founded in 1962, Taylor Business Institute awards associate degrees, and certificate for special purpose programs. It is located only in Chicago, Illinois.[1][2]

History

Taylor Business Institute has been operating in the Chicago Loop since 1962. From 1962 to 1986, the college was primarily a diploma-focused institute offering women clerk typist and secretarial training and was owned by ITT Educational Services. In 1986, Janice Parker, the former director of the school, acquired the college.

Student body

Taylor Business Institute Chicago has 250 students from over 30 countries, though most students come from the city's core African American and Hispanic communities.[3]
