Taya Okerlund is an American novelist. Her young adult novel Hurricane Coltrane was published in 2015.[1][2]

Okerlund spent her senior year of high school in Taiwan.[3]

She previously worked for the Federal government of the United States.[2]

She lives on the San Francisco Peninsula, but has roots in Utah.[4]
