Tavdinsky District (Russian: Тавдинский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Tavdinsky Urban Okrug.[3] The area of the district is 6,560 square kilometers (2,530 sq mi).[4] Its administrative center is the town of Tavda.[2] Population (excluding the administrative center): 6,885 (2010 Census);[5] 9,592 (2002 Census);[8] 11,392 (1989 Census).[9]
