The Taoyuan County Council (TYCC; Chinese: 桃園市議會; pinyin: Táoyuán Shì Yìhuì) is the elected municipal council of Taoyuan City, Republic of China. The council composes of 60 councilors lastly elected through the 2014 Republic of China local election on 29 November 2014. It has the most number of seats among other county councils in Taiwan.

History

The council was established on 21 January 1951 as Taoyuan County Council.[4] On 25 December 2014, the council was promoted in status to Taoyuan City Council after Taoyuan County becomes a special municipality.
