Fictional character biography

Power Girl and The Huntress starred in the series Worlds' Finest which depicted their adventures as Earth 2 natives stranded on Earth 0. The series introduced Tanya Spears, a young genius and an intern of Karen Starr. She proved instrumental in helping Power Girl and Huntress return home. In the same series however, Tanya lost her mother, who was murdered during an attack from supervillains from the world of Apokolips. Additionally, in the process of sending the original Power Girl and The Huntress back, she gained super strength and invulnerability.

As Karen Starr left Earth 0, she bequeathed to Tanya the name Power Girl and all of her assets. Tanya for a time joined Tim Drake's Teen Titans team. After his disappearance and the team disbanding, Tanya goes Solo, eventually joining Slade Wilson's Defiance Team.

At the end of the Defiance Arc, everything with the team falls apart. Tanya is also being haunted by images of Karen Starr being lost out of reality. Tanya develops technology and goes into the same space to pull Karen back, but her tether is severed by Kid Flash and she is lost with Karen Starr.[1]

Powers and Abilities

Power Girl is blessed with superhuman strength and invulnerability. On top of this she has also gained the ability to increase her size to an unknown level. It is yet to be revealed the extent of these size changing abilities but she can grow as tall as a building. It is implied by Manchester Black that she has many other powers that she does not know of.
