Tanmay Bhat is an Indian stand-up comedian, script writer, producer and the co-founder of the popular comedy sketch group All India Bakchod along with Gursimran Khamba.[2] [3] He was one of the first four comedians to be featured at the Comedy Store Mumbai’s first all-Indian comedian line up, titled Local Heroes, and soon thereafter he performed alongside comics from Nepal in a Best In Stand Up event.[3]

On Air with AIB

On Air with AIB is a typical news comedy show that aims to find comedy in tragedy. Hosted by Rohan Joshi, Tanmay Bhat, Ashish Shakya and Gursimran Khamba, the show featured interviews, sketches and an examination of systemic issues that the country faces.[4] The show has been co-hosted and written by Zakir Khan.[5]

The third season started to stream on Hotstar from September 24, 2018. It follows the same format as established by the second season. On October 08, 2018 Hotstar made a public announcement from their official Twitter handle about cancellation of On air with AIB season 3 amid the charges of sexual harassment on minor girls[6].

Sexual Harassment Allegations

Owing to his inaction in a compliant against sexual Harrasment of a minor girl, he was forced to step away from AIB on 8th October 2018. [7] [8]
