Premise

Eddie Collins (Ryan), needing $1,000 to pay his wife's obstetrician, appears om the popular radio quiz show Take It or Leave It with host Phil Baker (as himself) in an attempt to win the money, its top prize having been increased from the usual $64. His chosen category is "Films", thus serving as a backdrop for clips from countless other 20th Century Fox features to be shown.
