Szentgotthárd (Hungarian: Szentgotthárdi járás) is a district in south-western part of Vas County. Szentgotthárd is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Western Transdanubia Statistical Region.
Geography
Szentgotthárd District borders with the Austrian state of Burgenland to the north and west, Körmend District to the east, Slovenia to the south. The number of the inhabited places in Szentgotthárd District is 16.
