Sypniewo [sɨpˈɲevɔ] (German: Zippnow) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jastrowie, within Złotów County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) west of Jastrowie, 32 km (20 mi) north-west of Złotów, and 121 km (75 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.

Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. For more on its history, see Złotów County.
