Syncopacma karvoneni is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Hackman in 1950. It is found in Switzerland, Fennoscandia and northern Russia.[1][2]
The larvae feed on Vicia cracca, Trifolium pratense, Lathyrus pratensis, Lathyrus palustris and Melilotus alba. Young larvae mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a small full-depth gallery. Older larvae live between two or more spun leaves. Pupation takes place in the soil. The larvae have a pale reddish body with brown mottling, and a light brown head.[4]
