The Symbiosis Society is a family of 37 educational institutions on 19 campuses in India. It has some 27,000 students.

The society manages the Symbiosis International University (SIU), formerly Symbiosis International Education Centre.

Symbiosis is a Greek term meaning 'Living together for mutual benefit'. Symbiosis is an educational and cultural center, established in 1971 by S. B. Mujumdar, president and founding director. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust, Act, 1950. The institution is headed by Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar
