Sylvain Waserman is a French politician representing La République En Marche! He was elected to the French National Assembly on 18 June 2017, representing the department of Bas-Rhin.[1]

In parliament, Waserman is a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs. In addition, he was a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs from 2017 until 2018. He also serves as chairman of the French-Austrian Parliamentary Friendship Group and is a member of the French-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group.[2]

In addition to his role in parliament, Waserman has been serving as member of the French delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2017. He is part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe group and serves on the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights as well as on the Sub-Committee on the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.[3]
