Syed Faateh
Syed Hussain ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Ismail Al-Faateh (Arabic: سيد حسن الفاتح) was the son of Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Ismail, he was born in Mashhad in Iran.[1] Syed Faateh, also known as Syed Jaan or Syed Agha. He was martyred by the agents of the Abbasid Caliphate in Mashhad.[2][3] He was the grandson of Isma'il ibn Jafar. He played an active role against the Abbasid Caliphate by preaching the Zayd ibn Ali revolt thus he can be considered a Zaydi.[4]
