Sweet Trip is an American experimental ambient pop/shoegaze act from San Francisco, California, United States.

Background

The group was formed in 1995,[2] and its mastermind is producer and songwriter, Roberto Burgos. Since its conception the band has released three full-length recordings with Darla Records, namely 1999's Halica, 2003's Velocity : Design : Comfort, and 2009's You Will Never Know Why.

Labelmates Junior Varsity KM whom Burgos has done several remixes for has toured with Sweet Trip on several occasions. Other notable outfits Burgos has done remixes for include Takako Minekawa, Club 8 and Gnac.

In 2013, Burgos posted a song, "Things to Ponder While Falling", on his SoundCloud account, referring to it as "Probably *not* the last Sweet Trip song ever."[3]
