Swedish F-tax certificate

F-tax is a Swedish tax paid by a self-employed person.[1]

Sole proprietors (sole traders) in Sweden who actively conduct business usually have an F-tax certificate. An F-tax certificate signifies that the sole proprietor himself or herself is liable for paying their corporate taxes and social security contributions every month.[2]

When a business is approved for F-tax, the business owner's customers do not have to deduct taxes on payments made for work performed in Sweden.[3]
