Susanna and the Elders, Artemisia Gentileschi, Burghley House (England), 1622

Susanna and the Elders is a 1622 painting by the Italian artist Artemisia Gentileschi. The painting is signed with Gentileschi's name and the date of 1622. It currently is in the collection of the Marquess of Exeter, Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire, England; it has been listed as being in the family collection since at least the 1700s.^[1]

It is one of many paintings by Gentileschi depicts the story of Susanna from the Book of Daniel.
