Surender Reddy born 7 December 1975 in machanapalli village Jammikunta, Karimnagar, Telangana, India is a Tollywood film director.[1]

He worked with Ravi Teja, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan Teja, Kalyan Ram, and N. T. Rama Rao Jr..

Career

He made his directorial debut, Athanokkade with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. His noted films are Kick starring Ravi Teja , Ileana D'Cruz and Race Gurram starring Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan. All the films he directed except for Athanokkade are the stories written by Vakkantham Vamsi.

His recent movie Kick 2 was released in August 2015 with star hero Ravi Teja[2] It was one of the most anticipated movies in the career of Ravi Teja owing to the popularity of Kick. It collected an estimate of Rs.6.25 crores (943,000 USD) on its first day, the highest for a Ravi Teja movie crossing Power.[3]
