Supersonic Blues Machine is an American blues-trio currently signed to Provogue Records. They have recorded two albums, "West of Flushing, South of Frisco" (2016), and "Californisoul" (2017), both of which reached the Top 15 of the Billboard Blues Albums chart.[1]
History
In 2015, guitarist Lance Lopez joined drummer Kenny Aronoff and former Starbreaker bassist and producer Fabrizio Grossi (Slash, Alice Cooper, Ice T) to form Supersonic Blues Machine. Grossi and Aronoff were playing in Goodfellas, the side-project of Toto guitarist Steve Lukather, when Aronoff began producing music by Lopez, bringing the trio together.[2]
Their two albums thus far have featured collaborations with artists including Lukather, Billy Gibbons, Eric Gales, Warren Haynes, Walter Trout, Robben Ford and Chris Duarte. They have performed to thousands of people around the world, including performances in Holland, India, Russia, Norway (at Notodden Blues Festival) and the UK.[3]
