Jaryd Lazar (born April 23, 1987),[1] more commonly known by his online alias, summit1g, is an American Twitch streamer and retired competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player who played for the recreational teams A51 and Team Mythic.[2] Lazar switched to streaming PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds after the game's pre-release in March 2017. He regularly streams a variety of games, including Escape from Tarkov, Fortnite, GTA V, and DayZ.[3]
Lazar has been streaming since 2012 and regularly garners approximately 20,000 viewers. Lazar's viewership peaked at 90,000 when he streamed Mythic's run at ECS qualifiers in CS:GO.[4] Lazar has over three million followers, becoming the top followed streamer on Twitch from January 2018 to March 2018.[5]
Lazar streamed the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor pre-fight conference which caused a boost in viewership for the IRL section of Twitch that day.[6]
