Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan (Arabic: الشيخ سلطان بن زید بن خلیفہ آل نهيان / English: Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan) was the grandfather of current Ruler Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan [3] and father of previous ruler Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan[3].
He killed his brother Hamdan in 1922 to rule Abu Dhabi, but was himself toppled and killed by another brother Saqr in 1926.
He had at least four sons, the eldest of whom was Shakbut, and the youngest whom was Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan [3] also called Zayed II.
