Sultan Al Neyadi

Sultan Al Niadi (Sultan Saif Muftah Hamad Al Niyadi) is an Emirati astronaut from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre. He holds a PhD in information technology.

The selection of the two Emirati astronauts was announced on Sept 3 2018. One of them will fly to the International Space Station on board Soyuz MS-12 and land on board Soyuz MS-10 in 2019.[1]

Biography

He obtained in 2016 a PhD in Data Leakage Prevention Technology from Griffith University, as well as a Master’s degree in Information and Networks Security from the same university, a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Brighton, and completed a general education programme in Information Technology in the United Kingdom in 2001.
