Sudip Datta Bhaumik

Sudip Datta Bhaumik (died 21 November 2017) was a journalist killed in the North-eastern state of Tripura in India by a police officer of the Tripura State Rifles during an altercation. Sudip was a reporter of Bengali language newspaper Syandan Patrika[1] and local television channel News Vanguard.[2][3]

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar[4] and Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju condemned the killing of the journalist.[5]
