Sudhir Yadav is an Indian politician of the state of Haryana, India, a web developer, and an RTI (Right to Information) activist in the government work. He has filed several Public Interest Litigation (PILs) in the Supreme Court and High Court of India. He serves as State Spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party.

Education

Yadav attended Government Post Graduate College (Gurugram), where he received his master's degree in Computer application.

Social Activism

Yadav is an RTI and social activist.[1] Through RTI, he exposed a school that called itself Delhi Public School (DPS) in Farrukhnagar. The school was not affiliated to the Delhi Public School (DPS) Society and was ordered shut.[2][3]

Yadav filed 3 PILs in the Supreme Court of India against the government of India. The first was against making Aadhaar card mandatory for availing digital locker facility.[4] The second was to oblige government officials, representatives of people and judiciary and those serving in the local bodies to send their children to government schools.[5] The third was to urge the Indian government to ban WhatsApp[6][7] and other messaging services that have end-to-end encryption[8][9][10], and thus providing the Indian government with no means to access these messages.[11][12][13]

Yadav also filed several PILs in Haryana and Panjab High Court over state government making Aadhaar card mandatory for school admission.

As Spokesperson

Yadav was appointed as State Spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party in 2014, which is the main political party in the state of Haryana. His announcements include announcing Naveen Jaihind, chief Minister Candidate of Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana.[14][15][16]

Personal life

Yadav belongs to a middle-class family. His father is an ex-army veteran. He is currently living in Farrukhnagar, Gurgaon, Haryana.
