Sudeep K, professionally credited as Sudeep Karat, is an Indian film actor and film producer, who predominantly works in Malayalam film industry & entertainment industry. His entry to showbiz business materialised in the year 2010, when he took up the reins as the Director at Salroza Motion Pictures in Kochi is actively involved in entertainment industry. His few feature films include, Janakan (2010) , SANDWICH (2011), DAVID & GOLIATH (2012), THE DOLPHINS (2013), KATTUM MAZHAYUM (2016).^[1] His acting stints have graced TV commercials for Dalmia Cements,^[2] Snow Storm, RYSE Cosmetics, among others. Besides, he has essayed the lead character for the TV series, Manjal Prasadam. He had also played prominent roles in digital Hindi series 'Spotted' and 'Alang' for Netflix. An MBA graduate from Pune, Sudeep specialised in Marketing and Finance. Before embarking on entertainment business Sudeep began his career in logistics world and started his own freight forwarding company having global offices with headquarters at Dubai, UAE. He is the co owner of International Malayalam film awards.^[3]

Early life

Sudeep^[4] was born on 17 October to a middle-class family in Thrissur, Kerala, India. He completed his Master of business administration in Marketing & Finance from Shivaji University, Maharashtra. After his studies he flew to Dubai and worked for IAL Logistics for almost a decade and started his own freight forwarding company worldwide having headquarters at Dubai, UAE.

Sudeep's^[5] entry to entertainment industry as co producer of the movie called Janakan^[6] starring Mohanlal & Suresh Gopi in 2009 -2010. Later he went on as producer of movie called SANDWITCH^[7] starring Kunchacko Boban, Suraj Venjaramoodu , Richa panai, Ananya in 2011. In 2012, he come back with production of David & Goliath with national award winner director Rajeevnath starring Anoop menon and Jayasurya. In 2013 to 2014 his production was The Dolphins^[8] penned by Anoop menon starring Suresh Gopi, Anoop menon , Kalpana. 2015–2016, he produced Kaattum Mazhayum directed by Harikumar starring Unni Mukundan and Lal.

Besides he has produced Mega serials for major leading satellite channels in Malayalam. He has produced first project for Mazhavil Manorama in the launch season. He has produced Love Policy a musical album of YUV band in 2013 along with other musical albums called ONE LOVE^[9] and short films/devotional albums.

He has started his acting carrier by doing commercials for Multinational brands. Later he acted for mega serial Chechiyamma for Surya TV as Dr.Jayanth and as unni namboothri in Manjal Prasadam for Flowers TV. He has acted a DAVID for series called SPOTTED for digital platform and filming ALANG for Netflix now.
